Lecture Recording at TUM
In order to improve the conditions of teaching and learning at TUM, a centralized lecture recording service was introduced. After a reqirements survey the system mediasite was tested in practice in winter semester 2014/15 and summer semester 2015. In winter semester 2015/16 TUM introduced the lecture recording service with mediasite.
The service should be designed such that it requires no additional effort from lecturers who wish to take part. Apart from providing the technical infrastructure, the service should be enhanced with training programs and an explanation of the legal issues related to recorded lectures.
