IT Facilities at the TUM

There are several facilities responsible for IT services across the TUM campus.

IT-Servicecenter (ITSZ)

IT-Servicecenter (ITSZ) is responsible for issues that affect the overall IT infrastructure at the TUM.

Decentral IT Facilities

Weihenstephan Information Technology (ITW)

ITW provides IT services to the TUM Weihenstephan campus.

School of Math and Computer Science Computer Services Group (RBG)

RBG offers the School of Math and Computer Sciences, as well as the Garching campus, a wide range of IT services.

Medical Computer Center (MRI)

MRI provides the overall, centralized IT services and the IT infrastructure for the University Hospital Rechts der Isar.

Library Technology

The Library Technology department is responsible for operation of the central library IT infrastructure.

Additional IT Facilities

Leibniz Supercomputing Center (LRZ)

LRZ serves as the computer center for the Munich universities, the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and is also a national center for high-performance computing.
