I Have Probelms With Special Characters and Commas in Sender Names. What Can I Do?

If a sender name in Exchange contains a special character (like Umlaut ä,ö,ü) and a comma, some mailclients (eg. Thunderbird) interpret this as two addresses. When somebody replys to this message theis can lead to incorrect receiving addresses.

Solution: To avoid this problem, you will have to remove the comma and/or the special character from your sender name. Your sender name can be changed in the "e-mail addresses" application in TUMonline in the field "Sender address (main e-mail address)".
