With the Jitsi Meet system (https://meet.lrz.de/) provided by the Leibniz Supercomputing Center (LRZ) all TUM members can organize video or web conferences in a fast and easy way, comparable to Skype, Hangout or Facetime.

- The major advantage of Meet is that it can be used with a wide range of modern browsers and requires no additional software, plug-ins or additional app.
- Because the service is subject to European data protection laws, Meet is also much more secure than services such as Skype.
- Meet can be used to organize online meetings, to carry out online student advisory sessions, as a communication platform for student work groups and much more.
If you need more functionality, such as a white board or recording, we recommend that TUM members utilize the Adobe Connect video conference system.
