Wanted Graduate Assistant (m/w/d) for Development of Digital Credentials for Higher Education Institutions

Are you interested in digitization and always wanted to know what it means at TUM? In the BMBF research project DiBiHo, we are investigating digital educational certificates of Higher Education Institutions and developing a proof-of-concept for digital certificates. For this, we are looking for a Graduate Assistant (m/f/d) to support us.

In this role, you will help shape the digitization of educational certificates (credentials) at TUM. In doing so, you will provide scientific and energetic support to the CIO of the Technical University of Munich and his team in the IT Service Center in a wide variety of matters as well as in conceptual tasks. What you should bring with you is a high degree of personal responsibility and willingness to perform. Your areas of responsibility include:

  • Supporting the further development of TUM IT systems and mobile services such as wallet and interface connectivity.
  • Programming of Interfaces for a Prototype System in the area of digital proof of education and related processes
  • IT in the environment of the central administration (CampusOnline)
  • Collaboration in current research projects and support in teaching activities
  • Committee and project work (planning, preparation)
  • Literature research and research work

We are looking for a friendly, team-oriented, communicative and service-oriented personality who enjoys contributing analytically as well as creatively to the further digitization of TUM, taking on changing challenges and contributing his or her own ideas. You have already completed your basic studies and, if possible, have a Bachelor's degree and are studying Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration, TUM-BWL, FIM, Mathematics and bring with you:

  • very good German and English skills
  • Programming skills such as Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, PHP, TypeScript and others. Especially also in the field of Android and/or iOS.
  • Desirable knowledge in the area of content management (ideal Typo3).
