The Digital Transformation Office (DXO) has the central responsibility for receiving ideas, requests and needs relating to the digitalization of processes, tasks and activities from TUM employees. The DXO is tasked with analyzing these impulses, setting priorities and identifying synergies between them or with projects already underway. If applicable it creates the appropriate documentation for defining projects.
Project Management Office (PMO)
The Project Management Office takes on the management and coordination of TUM-wide projects. It prioritizes these and has an overview of all ongoing IT projects at TUM and their current status. In addition, the Project Management Office ensures standardized processes and framework conditions when processing projects.

Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM)
Enterprise Architecture Management deals with the development and maintenance of a landscape of processes, data and systems. This is intended to create a holistic overview of the corporate landscape in which all business capabilities are mapped together with the underlying technologies - always with the aim of guiding strategic changes flexibly instead of just reactively guiding them.
Development and Operations (DEV OPS)
Dev Ops is involved in all projects where application development is required. It is responsible for internal development as well as for the coordination of external service providers and the operation of TUM-wide systems.
Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
The GRC team takes care of compliance issues such as the clarification of legal frameworks and data protection, and operates risk management based on this.
